7th Generation Social

Beautiful Flowers

At 7th Generation Social, we believe in the transformative power of shared stories and collective wisdom. Our curated community is a vibrant space where Black and Brown women come together to connect, grow, and uplift each other through the exploration of books and honest conversations about mental health and the first-generation experience.

We are dedicated to creating a supportive environment where you can find solace in shared experiences and strength in collective growth. Through thoughtful book discussions and open dialogues, we aim to address the unique challenges and triumphs we face, fostering a deeper understanding of ourselves and each other.

Join us as we navigate these conversations with courage, empathy, and a commitment to mutual support. Here, every voice is valued, and every story matters. Together, we are not just reading and reflecting—we are reshaping the narrative and building a future of empowerment and connection.

Welcome to a community where you belong, and where your journey is celebrated.

I was having a really hard time finding balance after having my son during the pandemic, and it was tough to build my social circle when we were all so isolated. I really appreciate 7th Gen Social and being able to get to know [...] the ladies while reading a good book.

I'm a first generation Dominican, born in NYC and raised in Los Angeles Suburb. Growing up, creating community/friends felt daunting away from the comfort of an ethnic enclave. Throughout my college and young adult experiences I developed beautiful friendships with Black and Brown women that were cemented by shared experiences, shared values &  a commitment to each other's well being. Approaching 40 & back in the burbs in the thick of adulting I'm creating an intentional online space for Black & Brown women seeking the same, using my love for reading and written words. I invite you to join 7th Gen Book Club, a place where likeminded women are coming together to explore and discuss topics that can all help us thrive.
